Generative Art Prompting Notes
GENAPA doesn’t know which keywords and phrases have the most impact in any given image generation model. For example, phrases like “best quality”, which generally result in high quality illustration outputs for SDXL, won’t necessarily have the same impact in midjourney. So, you’ll have to tell GENAPA what’s important to include based on the model you are using. GENAPA is great at describing a scene, but it doesn’t know much about specific image generation models (yet).
SDXL
The sweet spot for SDXL prompting seems to be around 6 to 10 visual descriptions. Use the Visual Prompt (vp) for the Clip G encoder and the Positive Prompt (pp) for the Clip L encoder. Modify the pp as needed to better capture the context and relationships from the vp.
Midjourney
Midjourney prompting seems to work best with between 4 and 8 visual descriptions. However, Midjourney (v6 as of this writing) seems to struggle with complex sentences. So, you may get better results just using the pp and adding relationships and context where needed.
DALLE-3
DALLE-3 / ChatGPT4 works really well with either vd or lp prompts. So, use either to get pretty solid outputs.
